Who said money doesnt come from trees? Oh yes it does!!!! 

Then why would people from urban towns, holding high political office, be continually standing before commissions of inquiry, defending reckless innuendos instigated against them by their fellow country men, suggesting their hand in the continual hacking down of natural forests in our own backyard for their own personal ideas?

Why would the media and the press then send their overzealous scavengers disguised as reporters, to take stock of looming consequences of impending disasters, should competing local communities decide to burn down whole ranges of green cover in a bid to gain more territory for their basic survival?

Why then did our renowned mother of Africa, listed in both Time and Forbes magazine as one of the 1oo most powerful and influential women in the world, and now a Nobel peace laureate cry 'wolf,' every time a tree was felled.? Why did she bear head injuries and fight wild battles, as if nothing else mattered but this leafy matter?

Why would the world then take their time to set up large independent bodies to speak for that which has no voice nor expertise nor desire to sit down for hours in public and closed door forums to deal with the survival of its species who may not even understand what all the fuss over their ability to nurture and procreate is all about?

And why I sit comfortably under my mugumo tree in my backyard counting its leaves as they whistle in the wind, converting their number into pennies imagining i have just won the lottery and they are about to call me up to go collect that huge prize money that will gift me with that luxurious home surrounded by electric fencing in the heart of modern suburbia. 

Why?

Think again.. They lied..Money does come from trees!!..in my case the tree is MY MIND.
